According to his prison room, Catalonia's former vice president is convicted of a 25-year prison sentence.

Oriol Junqueras is one of more than 20 state political leaders and is one of the dozens of people who take part in a trial to participate in an individual tender in the region. Some of the opposition has been accused of a violent uprising that has never arisen.

I do not want to apologize - Mr. Junqueras proves he is innocent, "The judiciary is anti-political and anti-political action," the BBC reported.

"It's a criticism of democracy," he says, "the whole of Europe is a dangerous standard."

Another scoundrel fears that they will face a court that faces a "predetermined outcome".

However, the Spanish government protects this process and requires the accused to bring in a fair trial.

The dispute in Catalonia
The judges were convicted of abuse of riots, riots and public assets requiring independence from Spain in 2017.

The argument is the majority of supporters of independence on October 1, 2017.

Three weeks later, the parliament of Barcelona was to declare an independent republic in Catalonia.

However, the polls saw little attendance and were declared illegal under the Spanish Constitutional Court. Madrid ruled in the region and several Catalan leaders escaped and were arrested.

After a year and a half, the polls remain controversial.
